Mark Nolte, Executive Director
I have been associated with Heit's Point as maintenance and more since 2001. I retired from the Air Force and at that time the only job I wanted was to take care of this facility. I believe in the need for all of us to get away from the rat race of society and get back to a relationship with Christ and what better place than in His beautiful creation. I love working with adults and youth and as volunteer coordinator, I am always blessed with the fellowship that the volunteers bring. I look forward to working with all of you in the future.
In 2010, the Board appointed me as Executive Director. It has been my pleasure to serve in this position for the past 10 years.
I serve here at Heit’s Point as the Director of Operations. I am married to my wonderful and beautiful wife Erica. Erica is a teacher in Sedalia. We have a beautiful daughter Kaitlynn who loves sport, art, and, piano. We also have two dogs named Sahdie and Baxter.
I am originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I attended Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, and received a Bachelors in Theology and a Minor in Christian Education. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work in outdoor ministry for many years. I have served at five other camps, as a counselor, program staff, and full-time staff.
I am very excited about what God has in store at Heit’s Point. I feel very humbled and blessed that He has placed us here with you for such a time as this. I look forward to serving you and the ministry at Heit’s Point.
